Petra found Graham Boyd’s name three days after the funeral, working alone through Community Services’ oldest archive on a Saturday when the rest of the incident room had, for once, been sent home to rest, and called Siobhan that same evening with a voice that carried none of the careful, controlled fatigue Siobhan had grown used to hearing from her across the last two months.
