The Retired Vicar

The cottage was on a hill above Kinloch, past the last houses, past the Flats, past where the road became a track and then a path. You could see the whole loch from here, the whole town, the marina with its masts, the northern shore with its gorse and bracken and four red flags that were not visible from this distance but which Melissa knew were there.
